Simulation

In this industry, practice makes perfect. The opportunity to train in an effective simulation significantly increases the hours of hands-on experience our students acquire in a safe, controlled, realistic, and responsive environment.

Our experience in this innovative area is growing. OETIO has worked on the modeling and design of a successful 3D (cave format) virtual reality simulator with the National Research Council of Canada, and we are currently working in collaboration with a Canadian high-tech company, CMLabs. To date, our collaboration has produced effective training mobile and tower crane simulators that have been installed and used in our training programs.

In addition to virtual reality simulators, OETIO has developed a complete range of one-quarter sized mechanical simulators to train our students. These are fully functioning replicas of hydraulic heavy equipment.
